PATTERN Internships

PATTERN has the best internship for creators and creatives in Indiana, providing mentorship, real-world experience, specially planned panels and field trips, and an opportunity to explore your creative career aspirations in a program that encourages—scratch that—expects interns to come up with ideas, drive their own projects, and take ownership of their time with us.

We welcomed our first interns in 2012; since then, more than 140 students have been through the program. Everyone has a unique experience with these semesters, but those who show up to say “yes” and to learn through contribution consistently have the best.

Other Considerations

  • This internship pays a $1000 stipend upon completion of the internship. It’s not much, we know, but the tradeoff is that you’ll receive priceless real-world experience, and your portfolio will be significantly stronger than your peers.
  • Priority is given to college students who are rising Juniors and older.
  • We do accept individuals who are not in college on a case-by-case basis. Please explain your situation in the cover letter.

At the moment we do not have any internships for high school students.

< Be sure to include a cover letter, resume, and link to a portfolio demonstrating your competency in your field of interest.
