How and when did you start modeling?
I began my career in May of 2022 at the Lmodelz boot camp. I was inspired by my best friends who were also beginning their modeling careers. They looked like they were having so much fun, and they encouraged me to try it for myself.
What’s the most surprising thing you have discovered about modeling?
I’m learning more about this industry every day. What I find most surprising is that often times the things we dislike about ourselves the most are the same features that make us stand out, and get chosen for a specific shoot/look. I’ve also learned that a personality is more important than any physical feature.
What is your favorite way to get model-ready?
To begin any shoot day, I get up early and take a walk. Then I love to prepare a full healthy meal. I finish off with a shower, my skincare routine and a fun podcast.
Where do you see yourself in the future?
I will be continuing to pursue my other ambitions along side my modeling career. I’m a healthcare management and policy major. I hope to get my Master’s degree. The career path I chose very much challenges my mind, but I find modeling so enriching because it challenges both my mind and my body. I hope to meet inspiring people throughout my modeling career and learn more through each new experience. The more I learn the better I can be for future castings.
