Where are you from? Fort Wayne, Indiana
How and when did you start modeling?
I started modeling by submitting an entry to model for a teen magazine called KiKi Magazine back in 2014. I ended up being featured on a few pages of the magazine and landed front cover for their February/March 2015 issue. From there I always had an interest in fashion and modeling and decided to freelance throughout high school and college. In 2021 I finally convinced myself to submit digitals to agencies and worked my way through the LModelz Bootcamp. Here I am now, a year later, signed with LModelz and loving what I’m doing.
What’s the most surprising thing you have discovered about modeling?
The most surprising thing that I’ve discovered about modeling is that at times it can become mentally and physically taxing. There’s a lot of pressure and work behind the scenes that people outside of the industry don’t see or understand. It can be hard with a busy schedule and day jobs to keep in touch with friends or make time for yourself. In those moments it’s important to be more intentional about how you spend your time and with whom. It’s also important to be kind to yourself, make no comparisons to others, and to be patient with where you’re at. Just breathe and remember that in good timing everything will come together, and that those around you still love and support you.
What is your favorite way to get model-ready?
My favorite way to get model-ready before an event or booking is to dedicate the entire night prior to self care. Whether that be setting affirmations, or giving myself a facial or dermaplane, I like to really take my time and treat myself. Nothing feels better than going to bed well refreshed and being able to wake up ready to go.
Where do you see yourself in the future?
In the future I see myself living somewhere on the coast or overseas. I’d like to be able to establish myself in a place I’m able to network in and create art. I want to continue to pursue modeling to my fullest potential and enjoy the experiences that come from [that].
