THINK TANKS

Think Tanks are networking and educational events around topics relevant to our community of design and culture enthusiasts (e.g. creative industries, the creative economy, or creative entrepreneurship/self-employment). Typically, a PATTERN Think Tank takes the format of either a panel discussion, a “fireside” chat, or a presentation. Allowing up to 60 minutes for the content and at least 30 minutes for attendees (usually between 20-50 people) to engage with each other and the content experts.

Historically, PATTERN would identify topics and speakers, but starting 2022, we want to give the mic to you. Which is to say, if you’ve got something to share, we’re super interested in hearing it. Submit an application form, and if your idea is a good fit, we’ll be in touch!

Submit a Think Tank Proposal:

In the application below, we ask for your contact information, a brief description of the topic you’d like to share on, and for you to upload short video (1-2 minutes) demonstrating your presentation/conversation style. This doesn’t need to be anything fancy, we just want to be sure you’re up for the challenge!

If Your Proposal is Selected, Here’s What PATTERN Covers:

  • Space for the event at our studio in The Stutz
  • Seats for up to 50 attendees
  • Set up and management event registration through Eventbrite
  • Promotion through our social media and newsletter
  • Day of set-up and event check-in
  • Light coaching in advance if you’re interested!

If you have questions or an issue with the application form, email jenny.walton@patternindy.com.
