The Villainess

We’re loving this fabulous and fun shoot inspired by Batman’s numerous nemeses. Makeup artist Danelle French explains how she created each look below.

I started with a white Halloween face paint all over the face. 
For the eyes I used a green shadow all over (loaded by Urban Decay) and used a brown eyeshadow under the eye to give a sunken look 
I used a red lip liner & smashbox be legendary lip lacquer in firecracker to draw on the mouth.” width=”682″ height=”1024″ /> I started with a white Halloween face paint all over the face.

I used a red lip liner & smashbox be legendary lip lacquer in firecracker to draw on the mouth.

 

For the eye I started with a soft grey on the lid (the balm cosmetics eyeshadow in Matt Abdul) with a darker grey in the crease (the balm cosmetics eyeshadow in Matt Johnson) then used a silver shimmery shade all over (make up for ever D552) 
On the lips I used Buxom lipstick in mistress and make up for ever artist plexi-gloss 202.” width=”682″ height=”1024″ /> For the eye I started with a soft grey on the lid (the balm cosmetics eyeshadow in Matt Abdul) with a darker grey in the crease (the balm cosmetics eyeshadow in Matt Johnson) then used a silver shimmery shade all over (make up for ever D552)

I used the same foundation all over the face. On the darker side I used a matte bronzer to contour just under the cheekbone. 
For the light side of the face I used the balm cosmetics eyeshadow in Matt Singh all over the lid. I used minimal mascara and no eyeliner. Glo minerals blush in nectar on the apple of the cheek. On the lips I used glo minerals cream glaze crayon in chiffon
On the dark side I used the balm cosmetics eyeshadow in Matt Hung on the lid, the balm cosmetics eyeshadow in Matt Reed in the crease, and urban decay eyeshadow in mushroom all over the eye. Black eyeliner and top & bottom false lashes completed the look. 
Glo minerals blush in spice Berry on the Apple of the cheek.

I drew the shape of the eye with a black eyeliner (Urban Decay 24/7 glide on pencil in perversion) then filled in with a black eyeshadow (the balm cosmetics in Matt Ahmed)

Red eyeliner on brows (glo minerals precise micro lip liner in aster red) 
Soft peach blush (tarte Amazonian clay blush in bashful)
On the eyes revlon photo ready eye art desert dazzle (green side) all over 
Topped with urban decay eyeshadow in vert
Finish with bold red lip (smashbox be legendary lip lacquer in firecracker.) ” width=”682″ height=”1024″ /> Red eyeliner on brows (glo minerals precise micro lip liner in aster red) 
Soft peach blush (tarte Amazonian clay blush in bashful)
On the eyes revlon photo ready eye art desert dazzle (green side) all over 
Topped with urban decay eyeshadow in vert
Finish with bold red lip (smashbox be legendary lip lacquer in firecracker.)
