Born and raised in Indianapolis, the intuitive Jada Bell is a purpose driven creative on the rise. Her ability to flow, carry melodic vocals and deliver clever and intentional lyricism on a single track defines her range as a true artist. With a strong sense of support for the local music scene and a genuine, charming personality, Jada is bound for success.

PATTERN had a chance to get to know Jada and learn about some of her latest projects. Check out the playlist Jada curated below!

Tell us about your musical background.
My childhood dream was to be a singer. I have always had an affinity for music, it has always been my best friend. I mean all types of music from Chris Brown to Kings of Leon to Onerepublic to Jodeci, I could go on and on. I played the violin growing up so music has always been an important part of my life.

Tell us about the mix you curated. Does it give off a type of mood? What should we be doing while listening in?
The list I curated is a mix of some of my favorite local artists with the exception of Kaash Paige and Pivot Gang. Pivot Gang does rep the Midwest. You should be doing something productive and definitely with one in the air.

What artists are killing the game right now?
Amerikkken, Ann Marie, Toosii, Coi Leray, Polo G, NBA Youngboy and Lil Baby.

Tell me about your past and current music projects.
Thus far I have multiple singles on all major streaming platforms, a combination of solo singles and collaborations. I have one project, a mixtape, “I’m on That Sh*t Pt. 1,” which is only available on Soundcloud for copyright reasons. I am very excited for future endeavors and just to grow as an artist. All I can say about my future projects is don’t expect the same sound from me. I don’t  even know what is going to come out of my mouth sometimes.

What are your interests outside of music?
I love to read. I love learning different languages, communication in general interests me. I love learning about astrology and will take every opportunity to speak on it. Naturally spirituality interests me of course.

You can keep up with Jada on Instagram!
