Snakepit Ball Street Style 2017

2017 Snakepit Ball was themed “The Art of the Race”, and attendees were invited to be more “bold and colorful” than usual in order to celebrate this year’s 500 Festival. While most people overlooked that mandate with the usual strong showing of black attire, we were thrilled to spot a few adventurous souls who took looking bold and colorful to heart. It was also great to see a few familiar faces from the local creative community – artists from the Harrison Center for the Arts, as well as peeps from the fashion community – made the event feel young and more diverse than ever! Kudos to everyone who worked so hard to make this year’s Ball a success! (Keep an eye out for a separate story about our special partnership with the 500 Festival to create garments from unconventional material.)
