Hot on the tails of fall fashion week, one of the trendiest materials of the season is leather, and beyond the basic shade of black, it appeared multiple times in ravishing shades of red. From luscious burgundy to shocking fire engine, red leather reached more interesting facets than the nineties’ skintight pants and Britney Spears catsuits that might come to mind.

A ladylike laser-cut dress at Valentino, a distressed skirtsuit in deep oxblood at Alexander Wang, and a sporty orange-red baseball bomber at Pringle of Scotland were just a few of the diverse options to choose from. No matter your taste or body type, red leather will be the must-have material of the fall season.
