After taking a hiatus last month, CreativeMornings returns to Kan-Kan Cinema this Friday. If you don’t already know, PATTERN and CreativeMornings formed a partnership, so this month we will be offering FREE past issues of PATTERN Magazine, cool stickers, and other goodies before the event. Register to attend ASAP, spots will fill up!
“CreativeMornings is a platform and voice for all people who love this city. It uplifts, supports, and builds a community through an intimate, creative lens,” Kyley Nocton, a past ATTS speaker says.
CreativeMornings is an organization intended to amplify voices in the community centered around creativity. Each month, a selected speaker shares their perspective of creativity in relation to the month’s theme. May’s CreativeMornings is a bit different. Rather than one speaker, five speakers were chosen to share their perspective on the theme of NOW. It’s called Audience Takes the Stage (ATTS), and this is the fourth ATTS they have done.
“Last year‘s ATTS afforded me the (virtual) stage to share with Indy my perspective of what it means to overcome life’s obstacles through resiliency while also sharing the rich culture and folklore of what it means to be Puerto Rican,” André Zhang Sonera, another past ATTS speaker says.
